About Brian

I’m not big on talking about myself, so I’ll be brief.  I’m a husband and a father of three.  I’m a huge Hyperion nerd.  This blog is intended to provide as much useful information to the community as possible.  I’ve been a regular speaker at KScope since 2010 and the sharing of information is probably what I like most about our industry.  This blog is meant to be an extension of that.  I recently became an Oracle ACE Associate (see the giant logo to the right).  I hope you enjoy the content!

  1. I really liked all the ;latest updates that you add to the blog.

  2. Nice blog

  3. Nice blog but please correct the link
    epmmarshall.com/archives/391
which should point to Building a Hyperion Home Lab: Choosing your chassis and power supply.
    It instead points to
    epmmarshall.com/enabling-dynamic-members-in-custom-plan-types-in-11-1-2-4/

    • Interesting…I use redirection to fix some old link, like the archive string you mentioned. I get the same result you do, but according to the plugin, it isn’t supposed to be going there. I’ve cleared the cache out and cleared out that redirect and rebuilt it using the proper link. If that doesn’t fix it for you, you can get there directly here:

    • Oh, and thanks for letting me know!

  4. Hi Brian, saw your presentation on Virtualization at KSCOPE17 and it was fantastic. I am currently making the case for SSD or at least direct attached storage for our newly virtualized environment. I checked the KSCOPE17 site and the presentation uploaded did not contain the benchmark data, can you upload to KSCOPE site or send to me directly?

  5. Hello,
Can i list my Blog url here as well ?
    Let me know.
    Thanks,
    Azmat
